SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of fire protection, namely to devices for passive fire protection of utility systems and methods of assembling these devices. Device for fire protection of utility systems, consisting of separate segments of steel U-shaped tray, wherein each segment of the steel U-shaped tray is connected to the next segment with an overlap or butt joint, at the same time the connected segments of the steel U-shaped tray are covered with fireproof plates, wherein the fireproof plates are connected to the connected segments of the steel U-shaped tray on two lateral sides and the lower side by connectors, and on the upper side of the connected segments of the steel U-shaped tray, the fireproof plate is connected to the end sides of the two side fireproof plates by a thermally expanding material and connectors, at the same time, the side joints between the fireproof plates are filled with a thermally expanding material. Also described is a method of assembling a fire protection device for utility systems.

EFFECT: increased fire protection of utility systems, as well as increasing the speed of assembling the structure of the fire protection device directly at the installation site of utility systems in accordance with the design documentation of the facility or with the process regulations (instructions) of the manufacturer.
