FIELD: testing; measurement.

SUBSTANCE: use for testing of gunpowder combustion characteristics. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that the device for testing the combustion characteristics of powder comprises a combustion chamber, in which the base is vertically fixed from below inside the combustion chamber, shelf for placement of powder is connected to base with possibility of disconnection, windows corresponding to shelf for placement of powder are located on side walls of combustion chamber and its upper wall, detachable parts are located on outer surfaces of walls on both sides of windows, and combustion chamber is connected to ignition element, which is brought to position of shelf for placement of powder; chamber mechanism, including an external movable frame, a distance adjustment element and a high-speed chamber; external movable frame is detachably connected with detachable parts containing two guides fixed on upper and lower surfaces of walls of windows; distance adjustment member is connected to the inner part of the outer movable frame to adjust the distance from the windows; and the high-speed camera is fixed on the distance adjustment element, and its lens faces the window.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of obtaining accurate characteristics of powder combustion.
