FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to method and device for production of tungsten metal powder. Method includes providing a reaction stream I containing tungsten oxide particles, treatment of the reaction stream I with a reducing agent to obtain a reaction stream II containing tungsten oxide and tungsten metal powder. During the process, by directing the reaction flow through at least one analysis unit, measuring the tungsten oxide content and measuring the crystallite size of the tungsten metal powder in the reaction stream II and comparing the obtained values of the tungsten oxide content and the crystallite size of the tungsten metal powder with the given target values. Device has at least one analysis unit for measuring the content of tungsten oxide and the size of crystallites of powders of tungsten metal in the reaction flow.
EFFECT: continuous determination and quality control of produced powder.
