SUBSTANCE: more specifically, the invention relates to a method of receiving and/or transmitting data between a master device and a computing device connected as a slave device to an I2C bus, made with possibility of data line switching in segment between master and slave device under control of computing device between bidirectional mode of signal transmission and unidirectional mode of signal transmission from master device to slave mode. At that, the method includes the stages, at which the computing device at the request of the master device transmits and/or receives data via the I2C bus mainly in the bidirectional mode of signal transmission; when it is necessary to transmit a logical unit by a slave device as a non-confirmation bit in accordance with the Jedec protocol, the computing device temporarily switches the bus data line into a unidirectional mode.
