FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical industry, namely to autonomous power engineering, and can be used in the manufacture of cathodes for lithium-ion batteries. According to the invention, for making an active mass of cathodes, single-wall carbon nanotubes are dispersed by periodically acting ultrasonic radiation with coaxial mixing in 1÷3% aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide to residual concentration <300 mcM, determined by the method of enhanced chemiluminescence in the para-iodophenol-luminol-horseradish peroxidase system in 1% aqueous solution of the obtained mixture. Aqueous dispersion of polyacrylonitrile used as a binder is then added and the mixture is dispersed under vacuum to maximum viscosity. Pre-evacuated acetylene black and then pre-evacuated cathode material LiFePO4 are gradually added to the obtained mixture during evacuation. Obtained cathode paste is applied on foil, dried and compacted.
EFFECT: high specific capacity of lithium-ion batteries, reduced fire hazard and environmental risk.
