SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Surgical approach is performed in case of cataract phacoemulsification (FEC), in which prior to cataract extraction two limbal paracenteses with width not changing corneal sphericity, and main tunnel incision are performed. At that, the main tunnel incision is performed from 10.30 o’clock to 11.30 o’clock with width of 2.0 mm, two main limbal paracenteses are performed at 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock with width of 0.8 mm both, and an additional limbal paracentesis is performed at 2 o'clock with width of 0.25 mm.

EFFECT: method enables to stabilize hydrodynamics in the anterior chamber during FEC due to the created additional limbal paracentesis, thereby reducing the volume of the outflowing fluid, as a result of which the anterior chamber remains stable and the probability of intraoperative complications is minimized.
