FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and can be used to detect suspected orphan diseases based on analysis of electronic medical records (EMR) of a patient using artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) methods. In the method, from the unstructured medical records contained in the EMR of the patient, using artificial intelligence and machine learning methods, using a set of modules, performing the extraction of features characteristic of orphan diseases, based on the obtained signs characteristic of orphan diseases, using one or more decision rule modules, detecting suspicions of orphan diseases, wherein each decision rule module is designed to detect suspicion of each separately taken orphan disease.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides detection of patients with suspected orphan diseases.
