FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Surgical treatment of secondary glaucoma in patients with burn and terminal dystrophic leukoma is carried out. Ultrasonic biomicroscopy is performed, ciliary body processes are localized, and markers are marked in this area at 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 11 and 12 o'clock. That is followed by contact transscleral cyclophotocoagulation in micropulse mode on marks previously marked with a marker using the following laser parameters. Wavelength is 810 nm, power is 2,200 mW, duty cycle is 31.3%, duration of one pulse is 0.5 ms, periods between pulses are 1.1 ms, exposure time is 50 s in 4 sectors of 90 degrees – total of 200 s. First exposure cycle is carried out along an arc of circle of 90 degrees from 1 to 3 o'clock, moving the laser probe in the projection of the placed marks. Then the manipulation is repeated in 3 more sectors: from 3 to 6 o’clock, from 6 to 9 o’clock and from 9 to 12 o’clock.
EFFECT: method enables reducing the risk of intraoperative complications due to non-invasiveness of the intervention, as well as providing a stable hypotensive effect, which, if necessary, can be prolonged by repeated procedure of transscleral CPC in micropulse mode at any stage of preparation for keratoprosthesis, as well as after the first and second stages of keratoprosthesis.
