FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Micropulse transscleral cyclophotocoagulation (mCPC) is performed, including exposure to a diode laser probe with a wavelength of 810 nm at a distance of 3 mm from the limbus. In this case, the probe is guided by sliding movements along the arc in each of the 4 quadrants of the eyeball 5 times for 10 seconds at the same speed at a total laser energy density of 121.84 J/cm2. If the intraocular pressure is destabilized after 6 months, the mCFC procedure is repeated.
EFFECT: method allows to achieve a stable hypotensive effect and its prolonged action for a longer period, which provides the possibility of timely treatment of patients with refractory glaucoma.
