FIELD: veterinary medicine; medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine and can be used to study the pathogenesis of chemical gastritis caused by administration of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), and approbation of new methods for the treatment of this pathology. For this purpose, chemical gastritis is simulated by subcutaneous administration of ketofen in rats at a dose of 20 mg/kg for 1 hour before feeding 1 time per day for 5 days.
EFFECT: method provides shorter periods of gastritis simulation and a reduction in the cost of the experiment.
