FIELD: chemistry; pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to pharmaceutical chemistry, particularly to methods of producing and compositions of radiopharmaceuticals for medical purposes for radionuclide diagnostics. Disclosed is a method of producing a reagent based on 1-thio-D-glucose for making a technetium-99m radiopharmaceutical preparation, comprising preparing a solution by successively adding 1 ml of 0.003–0.006 M hydrochloric acid solution of 1-thio-D-glucose with concentration of 1–2.5 mg/ml, 0.05 ml of an aqueous solution of ascorbic acid with concentration of 8–10 mg/ml and 0.025–0.030 ml of 0.02 M hydrochloric solution of tin dichloride dihydrate with concentration of 7 mg/ml, after filter sterilization into a bottle, lyophilization with preliminary freezing at temperature of minus 28–30 °C and additional drying at a temperature of plus 25 °C until moisture is completely removed, then the bottle is closed with a rubber stopper and sealed with an aluminium cap. Method of producing a technetium-99m radiopharmaceutical preparation consists in fact that 4 ml of a solution of sodium pertechnetate containing 500–1,000 MBq of technetium-99m is introduced into a vial with the obtained reagent based on 1-thio-D-glucose, intensively mixed and incubated at room temperature.
EFFECT: high radiochemical purity of the preparation, fewer operations during preparation, ensuring sterility and longer storage life.
