SUBSTANCE: what is described is a method of differentiating the “Лавр” vaccine strain of the causative agent of feline infectious rhinotracheitis from other strains and field isolates of the infectious rhinotracheitis virus. Method involves analysing the temperature curve of melting PCR products of the V1 gene using the orange polymer dye SuperNova v605 and oligonucleotide primers.

EFFECT: wider range of technical means for quality control of raw materials during production of vaccines against infectious feline rhinotracheitis from the “Лавр” vaccine strain.
