METHOD OF DIFFERENTIATING VACCINE STRAIN "RICH" FROM OTHER STRAINS AND FIELD ISOLATES OF CAUSATIVE AGENT OF CORONAVIRUS INFECTION IN DOGS BY ANALYZING MAXIMUM EXTREMA OF AMPLICON MELTING TEMPERATURE CURVES USING SUPERNOVA v428 VIOLET LASER DYE Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC C12Q1/68

Abstract RU 2826458 C1

FIELD: veterinary virology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to molecular diagnostics. Described is a method of differentiating the vaccine strain "RICH" from other strains and field isolates of the causative agent of coronavirus infection in dogs by analyzing maximum extrema of amplicon melting temperature curves using SuperNova v428 violet laser dye.

EFFECT: main advantages of the proposed invention are the ability to carry out in a short period of time, not more than 2,5 hours, differentiation of vaccine strain "RICH" from other strains and field isolates of causative agent of coronavirus infection of dogs; developed method is characterized by 100% analytical specificity; in 95% confidence interval diagnostic sensitivity for this method is 99,17–100%, diagnostic specificity—98,50–100%, accuracy—99,46–100%.
