FIELD: measuring; rail vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to investigation of stress-strain state of elastic objects. Method of determining optimum dimensions and number of equalizing rails and repair links of a continuous welded track consists in the fact that geometrically similar physical models of sections of joints of rail strings and equalizing rails are constructed by means of compensation straps, and finite element models of the constructed physical models are created. Wherein length and number of equalizing rails are varied. Geometrically similar physical and finite element models are created for each length of the equalizing rails, and the above models are loaded with loads. Frequency and amplitude of maximum resonance oscillations of parameters of stress-strain state are measured on physical models and calculated on finite-element models. Obtained values are compared at frequencies that are close in magnitude, and the physical and finite element model for which the amplitudes are minimum is selected.
EFFECT: reduced stress-strain state of sections of joints of rails of continuous welded track.
