FIELD: radar and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for direction finding of moving aerial objects, in which radio signals are processed in a transceiving station, emitting harmonic signal and receiving reflected signal in one probing period. In the disclosed method, signals from aerial objects are selected in the time domain and their angular coordinates are determined in one probing period. Joint time-frequency processing of signals is reduced to selection of the greatest number of estimates found in time or frequency domains. Method can be used in systems for direction finding of several objects moving at close speeds.
EFFECT: providing execution of operations for detection and determination of angular coordinates of objects in one probing period, as well as high probability of detecting all objects and accuracy of determining their angular coordinates due to additional processing in the time domain.
