METHOD FOR DETERMINING REHABILITATION POTENTIAL OF MOTOR SYSTEM AFTER CRANIOCEREBRAL INJURY Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61B5/369 A61B5/372

Abstract RU 2824805 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to neurology, rehabilitation. EEG is recorded in a state of calm wakefulness with closed eyes. Coherence parameters are mapped for the main physiological rhythm ranges. Individual coherence values are compared with normal values. If in leads Cz–C4–C3, Pz–Cz, Pz–P3–P4, C4–T4, C3–T3 in the alpha rhythm range, the coherence values are equal to or greater than the standard values, favorable prognosis and high rehabilitation potential are recorded. If in leads Cz–C4–C3, Pz–Cz, Pz–P3–P4, C4–T4, C3–T3 in the alpha rhythm range, the coherence values are lower than the standard values by more than 20%, then after 14 days of rehabilitation measures, the EEG is re-recorded. If the results of the repeated EEG analysis show 20% increase in the coherence values, the average rehabilitation potential is determined. If retention of low coherence values is recorded by results of repeated EEG analysis, low rehabilitation potential is determined.

EFFECT: method enables determining the rehabilitation potential of the motor system after a craniocerebral injury by analyzing the most significant EEG coherence parameters.
