FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurology, rehabilitation medicine, and can be used to predict the probability of functional recovery after ischemic stroke. Age (years), prescription of the stroke (months) are assessed. Degree of motor disorders in a paretic arm and a leg is assessed by the Fugl-Meyer scale (points), a degree of impairment of the balance function by the Fugl-Meyer scale (points), the initial level of vital activity by the rehabilitation routing scale (points). EEG is performed with determination of symmetry indices for leads FP1-FP2, F3-F4, C3-C4, P3-P4, O1-O2, F7-F8, T3-T4, T5-T6. Probability of prediction P is calculated by the declared formulas. If P is 0.5 and more, the patient is referred to a group with a positive prognosis of functional recovery. If P is less than the patient is referred to a group with a negative prognosis.
EFFECT: method provides higher accuracy of prediction of potential ability to perform vital tasks in conditions of real life situation in patients in early recovery period of suffered ischemic stroke.
