FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method for contactless cleaning of lithium foil for making a lithium electrode includes: unwinding a roll of lithium foil; cutting from the roll with a guillotine, a knife, a scalpel or scissors the required amount of lithium foil of a given length; placing the lithium foil workpiece inside the glove box on the working table; lithium foil positioning on the work table; by means of height of lifting of working table providing adjustment of distance between window of glove box and foil; lithium electrode is cleaned with the help of a laser with specified operating mode characteristics placed on a window of a glove box.
EFFECT: providing a simple and accessible method for contactless cleaning of lithium foil of various sizes and configuration from surface contaminants.
