SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalysts for oxidative dehydrogenation of light alkanes and can be used in petrochemical industry. Disclosed is a mesoporous aluminosilicate catalyst for oxidative dehydrogenation of propane in the presence of carbon dioxide, consisting of a support which contains, wt.%: dealuminated halloysite nanotubes 30.0–40.0, ordered mesoporous silicon oxide of MCM-41 type 30.0–50.0, aluminum oxide—up to 100 and gallium (III) oxide deposited on the support in amount of 1.0–9.9% in terms of metal of the weight of the support. At that, dealuminated halloysite nanotubes and ordered mesoporous silicon oxide of MCM-41 type form a single ordered mesoporous composite material, in which an ordered mesoporous silicon oxide of the MCM-41 type is located inside dealuminated halloysite nanotubes, and gallium oxide is uniformly distributed on the outer surface and in the pores of the support.

EFFECT: formation of an ordered mesoporous silicon oxide phase of MCM-41 type inside dealuminated halloysite nanotubes, additional amount of Bronsted acid centers in the support and catalyst based on it due to creation of defects in aluminosilicate nanotubes and formation of new Si-O(H)-Al bonds, as well as increasing the area of contact of propane molecules with catalytic centers of gallium oxide, uniformly located on the outer surface and in the pores of the support.
