SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ground space infrastructure providing reception, processing and distribution of the Earth remote sensing (ERS) data. System for providing consumers with remote sensing data includes a virtual software-defined network of interconnected software and hardware systems for receiving, processing and distributing remote sensing data, as well as connected via Internet with user computers (PC) of ERS spacecraft (SC) operators, and with at least one ERS data processing centre. Software and hardware systems for receiving, processing and distributing remote sensing data form a peer-to-peer decentralized network with virtualisation of network functions for the local computer network of each of such complexes. The Earth remote sensing data processing centre is connected to payment systems equipment, provides formation of a consumer application for survey of a given area of the Earth's surface with prediction of the possibility of its implementation and the assignment of at least one software and hardware system for executing the application, as well as the operation of the web interface for generating consumer applications, which is accessible from the PC of the remote sensing spacecraft operators.

EFFECT: scaling the system architecture and improving its fault-tolerance.
