FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for increasing the immunogenicity of a bacterial vaccine in calves. Said method involves double introduction of immunomodulator "Polyoxidonium®-vet solution" into calves at age of 20–25 days every 3 days and vaccination with bacterial vaccine 3 days after the last administration of the immunomodulator, wherein the bacterial vaccine used is the inactivated vaccine "Verokolivac K99", which is administered to calves in dose of 4 cm3, and the immunomodulator "Polyoxidonium®-vet solution" is introduced in dose of 3 mg/head and re-vaccinated 15 days after the first vaccination.
EFFECT: present invention provides a synergetic effect when using the "Polyoxidonium®-vet solution" immunomodulator and the "Verokolivac K99" vaccine by reducing the risk of the disease.
