FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding of car frames. Tubular elements of the frame are laid and fixed in the slipway-conductor supports, at that, the slipway-conductor is a lattice plate from a rectangular cross-section, and the lattice plate contains an axis, the ends of which are fixed on the support-base of the slipway-conductor. Moving ramp, located above the slipway-conductor, on which the heating infrared lamps are located, is lowered to the joints of the tubular elements of the above frame and preheating of joints of tubular elements is carried out before welding of the frame. Moving ramp is lifted. Butts of tubular elements of the frame are welded in a circular manner. Repeatedly lowering the movable ramp, on which the heating infrared lamps are located, and welding seams are heated to temperature of 500–600°C with subsequent holding at this temperature and subsequent cooling.
EFFECT: higher mechanical properties of the frame welds, higher reliability of the connection, increased reliability and safety of the frame during its operation, reduced frame manufacturing time.
