FIELD: processing and recycling of wastes.
SUBSTANCE: method of preparing compost from food and biological organic wastes for 24 hours consists in using a mass for processing, consisting of 2/3 of collected wastes and 1/3 of previously processed compost mass. After loading the mass into the bioreactor, sequential composting is carried out, which includes the following steps: mesophilic—involving heating mass to 40 °C, at a moisture content of 85–100%, with subsequent gradual heating of mass for 2–4 hours to 50–60 °C, thermophilic mass—with duration of 8–14 hours, involving heating mass to 80 °C, while stirring at rate of 2 rpm, at which the mass is treated with bacteria of the thermophilic group, cooling—assuming a natural decrease in temperature of mass to 40 °C, and ripening—assuming a natural decrease in temperature of the mass by not more than 10 °C, which is higher than the ambient temperature.
EFFECT: accelerated production of compost for 24 hours, suitable for production of fertilizer, animal feed, soil, as well as environmentally friendly recycling of household organic wastes of wide range.
