SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a gas chromatography device comprising a chromatographic column having a stationary phase with a positive thickness gradient. Gas chromatography device for focusing peaks of one or more target analytes includes: a chromatographic column having an inlet and an outlet, wherein a sample comprising one or more target analytes is fed into the inlet and exits the chromatographic column through the outlet, and a stationary phase deposited inside the chromatographic column, which has a positive thickness gradient, wherein the stationary phase passes from the inlet to the outlet and has a first thickness at the inlet of the chromatographic column and a second thickness at the outlet of the chromatographic column, where the second thickness is at least approximately 10% greater than the first thickness.
EFFECT: improved separation in a chromatographic column in order to improve its operational characteristics and increase the analytical capacity of gas chromatography.
