FIELD: medicine; pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutical industry, namely to an antiarrhythmic agent, a method for its preparation and a pharmaceutical composition based on the antiarrhythmic agent. Antiarrhythmic agent is a substance isolated from plants of the genus Aconitum (wrestler) of the family Ranunculaceae (buttercup), which contains alkaloids: lappaconitine, septefine, N-acetylanthranoyl-isolappaconidine, isoranaconitine, N-deacetylranaconitine, N-deacetylappaconitine, N-acetylsepaconitine, ranaconitine, isolappaconitine, 9-deoxylappaconitine or their pharmaceutically acceptable salts. Pharmaceutical composition for oral administration, having antiarrhythmic action, contains an antiarrhythmic agent in an effective amount and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. Method of producing antiarrhythmic agent extraction is carried out using an extractant selected from the group consisting of ethyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, acetone and a mixture of ethyl and isopropyl alcohol, adding to the extract an adsorbing additive selected from the group consisting of silica gel, aluminum oxide and activated carbon and the obtained solution is evaporated to obtain a dry residue of the end product containing a mixture of lappaconitine hydrobromide and salts of hydrobromides of accompanying alkaloids, including septefin, N-acetylanthranoyl-isolappaconidine, isoranaconitine, sepaconitine, N-deacetylranaconitine, N-deacetylappaconitine, N-acetylsepaconitine, ranaconitine, isoranaconitine, 9-deoxylappaconitine. Said antiarrhythmic agent is an effective and safe antiarrhythmic agent and has high antiarrhythmic activity in various forms of arrhythmia.
EFFECT: method for preparing this antiarrhythmic agent enables improving the quality of the finished product by reducing the time of thermal exposure, which enables to avoid adding additional impurities.
