FIELD: testing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bench tests of tractor gearboxes. Disclosed is a method of gear shifting when testing a gearbox with hydraulic control, with overlapping in time of combinations of friction clutches of the connected gear and switching off combinations of friction clutches of the disconnected gear. Method consists in gradual increase of pressure in friction clutches of connected transmission and gradual decrease of pressure in friction clutches of disconnected transmission matched with it. Pressure is supplied to friction clutches of the connected transmission when maximum possible value of residual pressure in friction clutches of the disconnected transmission is achieved. At the same time changes of torque on the input shaft of the test item, caused by the circulation of power and inertia of the rotating parts, will not exceed the values of the limiting operational moment for the test item and the starting torque of the test drive motor.
EFFECT: shorter time for gear shifting when testing a gearbox with hydraulic control, which prevents exceeding of limit operating torque values on the input shaft of the test item and the starting torque of the test bench drive.
