SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to chemistry and pharmacology, namely to a peptide with antibacterial activity or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, having the sequence SEQ ID NO: 1; to its use as an antibacterial agent; to its use for preparing a pharmaceutical composition with antibacterial activity for treating and/or preventing an infectious disease in a subject caused by a bacterial infection; to a pharmaceutical composition with antibacterial activity for treating and/or preventing an infectious disease in a subject caused by a bacterial infection, containing an effective amount of the disclosed peptide and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable excipient.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides a wider range of antibacterial agents for treating infectious diseases, including those caused by multidrug-resistant bacterial strains.
