FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pediatrics, cardiology and phthisiology, and can be used in the treatment of arrhythmia in older children suffering from respiratory tuberculosis with multiple and extensive drug resistance of MTB, receiving bedaquiline in chemotherapy regimens. With an increase in the QTc interval of more than 460 ms on the rest ECG, QTc is more than 470 ms on the minimum and maximum heart rate according to Holter monitoring with underlying sinus tachycardia, if the average heart rate is more than 20% of the age norm, the normal hemoglobin and potassium level, the beta-adrenergic blocking agent atenolol 0.5 mg/kg/day is prescribed. Withdrawal of the preparation is carried out not earlier than in 3 months provided that heart rate and QTc interval are normalized according to ECG data, at that, the dose of atenolol is reduced by half to 1/4 of the initial dose for 1 month with subsequent withdrawal of the preparation.
EFFECT: method enables to correct arrhythmia in a child with widespread, destructive, empyema-complicated respiratory tuberculosis with extensive drug resistance of MTB, receiving a prolonged course of bedaquiline in a combination of anti-tuberculosis drugs, due to a combination of techniques of the claimed invention.
