FIELD: water supply systems; rail vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water supply systems and sanitary equipment of passenger railway cars. Proposed device comprises water unit 2 with water heating tank 3 and water cooling tank 4. On line (5) for supplying cooled water to the consumer, ultraviolet disinfectant (7) with a low-pressure ultraviolet gas-discharge mercury lamp (8) is installed. Disinfectant (7) is connected to control unit (10) configured to control the switching on and off of the low pressure ultraviolet gas-discharge mercury lamp (8) from the water flow sensor (12), installed on cooled water supply line (5) to consumer. Control unit (10) is equipped with time relay (11) for delay in time of switching off the ultraviolet gas-discharge mercury lamp (8) by the signal from the water flow sensor on the absence of water flow on the water supply line to the consumer. Internal volume of the flowing ultraviolet disinfectant (7) exceeds the volume of a single water intake.
EFFECT: invention increases service life of equipment without deterioration of drinking water disinfection quality.
