FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of welding parts with grooving and a welding apparatus. Continuously falling melt drops generated by welding device are exposed to magnetic field generated by electromagnetic coil. Magnetic field intensity and magnetic field direction switching frequency are adjusted taking into account the gap between the edges of the welded parts in the groove to provide for deviation of the falling path of continuously falling melt drops by the magnetic field force and their movement from the edge to the edge of the welded parts when filling the groove. As a result of different directions of the magnetic field, the melt drops are subjected to the action of magnetic field forces with deviation of the trajectory of falling of the melt drops in different directions and to a different extent. During welding, continuously falling drops of melt fall on walls of edges, filling groove and providing good result of parts welding.
EFFECT: additional equipment of arc welding device with laser device provides for implementation of laser-arc hybrid welding of parts with grooving.
