FIELD: monitoring systems.
SUBSTANCE: method of monitoring using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) relates to the evaluation of sound vibrations of a propeller-driven group of UAVs and is used to increase efficiency of monitoring. Essence of the disclosed method consists in the fact that an optical or laser range finder is pre-installed on the UAV, UAV is launched and monitoring task is performed under control of UAV operator or according to flight task (FT). Range finder directed along the motion direction continuously measures the distance to the objects of observation. When a dangerous distance to the surveillance object is reached, the UAV operator is notified by means of an audio signal from the UAV operator about being in a dangerous proximity, provide automatic reduction of acoustic signature of UAV due to reduction of rotational speed of propeller group or terminating the FT execution with fixation of the FT termination point coordinates with further return of the UAV to the base.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of monitoring with the help of UAV.
