FIELD: musical instruments.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to stringed and bowed acoustic musical instruments and can be used in making electronic musical instruments. Stringed musical instrument comprises a body including a shell, an upper and a lower soundboards forming a resonator cavity, a support, strings, a neck with a nut, frets and tuning pegs, wherein in the upper soundboard of the body a spherical, conical or oval concave surface is formed, perforated by the resonator holes according to the number of strings, the support for the strings is installed in the end of the body on the shell, strings enter the through holes of the support and shells into the resonator cavity and exit from it through the resonator holes in the area of the concave surface of the upper soundboard, openly pass through the concave surface of the upper soundboard and enter through the resonator holes into the resonator cavity of the body from the opposite side of the concave surface, with subsequent passage through the resonator holes to the neck with pegs.
EFFECT: protection of strings during transportation and improvement of acoustic characteristics.
