FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and can be used as a composite concrete column for residential and industrial buildings. Method of making a composite concrete column, comprising preparation of elements and installation of reinforcement frame, installation of formwork, pouring with concrete, wherein longitudinal and transverse reinforcement in form of clamps are made of fibreglass reinforcement in cross-section of ellipsoid shape, wherein the long axis of the ellipse is aligned with the direction of the maximum load of the cross section of the column, the lengths of the axes of the ellipse are taken in proportion to the design loads along the axes of the cross section in the middle of the length of the column. In the middle of the column, a central transverse reinforcement is installed with a rectangle in the form of a clamp with the long axes of the ellipse perpendicular to the longitudinal reinforcement, subsequent horizontal reinforcing rectangles are installed with a non-linear increase in distance from each other to the edges of the column in proportion to the load reduction along the shear force and bending moment diagram. When preparing transverse fibreglass reinforcement in the form of clamps, the corners are bent and simultaneously the sides of the rectangle are turned through 90° along the longitudinal axis of the reinforcement with their preliminary heating with a gas burner and with the long axis of the ellipse in the plane of the clamp, installation of linear sections of the reinforcement frame is preliminary carried out in a template, which enables to align the long axis of the reinforcement ellipse with maximum loads on the column, and with subsequent installation of the common reinforcement frame at the location.
EFFECT: increasing bearing capacity of composite concrete column.
