FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to devices for contactless torque transmission. Magnetic cylindrical coupling based on stacks of HTS tapes for a kinetic energy accumulator consists of two cylindrical half-couplings. Driving half-coupling contains permanent magnets, and the driven half-coupling is placed in a vacuum chamber cooled by a cryorefrigerator. At least one row of permanent magnets is arranged on the outer surface of the driving half-coupling. On the inner surface of the driven half-coupling opposite each permanent magnet there are stacks of HTS tapes. Number of stacks coincides with the number of permanent magnets. Around the side surface of the driven cylindrical half-coupling with a gap there is a hollow cylindrical copper screen having a tight mechanical contact with the cryorefrigerator. Heater is wound on the outer surface of the cylindrical copper screen, on the opposite side facing the said driven half-coupling.
EFFECT: increased stability of driven shaft rotation.
