FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used for surgical treatment of femoral neck fractures. Osteosynthesis is performed by introducing five wires through the hip fracture line, which are bent to form a closed loop. Screw is installed in femur, and eight-shaped tightening wire loop is delivered around screw head and through loops of wires, which secures wires and screw between each other. Screw is inserted at 0.5–1.0 cm in the proximal direction from the V-shaped wires insertion point into the bone.
EFFECT: method provides reducing the amplitude of migration of the V-shaped wires in the distal direction with the onset of consolidation of the femoral neck fracture and its shortening due to lysis due to the fact that the screw fixing the cerclage loop is located in the proximal direction from the point of insertion of the wires.
