FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used for open osteosynthesis of fracture of internal malleolus with two K-wires, which are delivered through internal malleolus into tibia through line of fracture, bent in form of two closed loops and cut at point of loop completion. Above the fracture, a through hole is formed in the tibia with a drill. A cerclage-wire loop is delivered through the resulting wire loops and a hole in the bone, and a knot is formed by tightening the loop.
EFFECT: method provides elimination of metal structure migration, as well as compression without its subsequent reduction due to fixation of bone fragments on both sides.
