FIELD: monitoring of technical systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for monitoring and diagnostics of technical condition of electric machines of direct and alternating current. Device comprises a microcontroller, a sensor for monitoring the shape of current flowing in the windings of an electrical machine, a temperature sensor for bearing supports of the electrical machine, an insulation resistance monitoring sensor, electromagnetic field sensor, a three-component piezoelectric accelerometer, an hour meter, a device for detecting structural changes in solids, a gas analyzer, display device, non-volatile memory and motor power switch. Nonvolatile memory, display device, sensors and motor power switch are connected to analogue and digital inputs/outputs of microcontroller. Microcontroller provides step-by-step polling of sensors with determination of maximum and minimum value, as well as Hurst exponent, their comparison with reference values recorded in non-volatile memory, and emergency shutdown of the electric machine by the power switch in case the diagnosed parameters go beyond the reference values.

EFFECT: detection of values of diagnosed parameters of electric machine beyond permissible values obtained at initial stage during standard operation and its emergency shutdown in case of need.
