METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF RISK OF SEVERE FORM OF NEW CORONAVIRUS INFECTION (NCVI) IN PREGNANT WOMEN Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC G01N33/48 A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2830811 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for predicting the risk of a severe form of a new coronavirus infection (NCVI) among patients with mild and moderate NCVI in pregnant women, consisting in the fact that a clinical and laboratory examination is carried out and based on the evaluation of the data: obesity, hypertension, dyspnea during physical activity, lymphocyte count, erythrocyte count, thrombin time, blood plasma osmolarity, lactate concentration; diagnostic index DI is calculated. If DI is more than 0, a high risk of severe NCVI is predicted; if DI is less than 0, there is no risk of severe NCVI.

EFFECT: invention enables predicting the risk of severe NCVI by available methods, optimizing the management approach to this category of patients.
