FIELD: recognition of a document on a photo frame.

SUBSTANCE: technical result is achieved by the fact that in the disclosed solution, the documents localization and identification system responses are validated by verifying the global features of the document, wherein for the template images and for the request image, key points are selected and described, then the request points are brought into uniformity with each set of template points by a full search, further, based on the obtained comparisons, a projective transformation is found, according to which a quadrangle of the document is determined, then, from all comparison candidates, a candidate with the largest number of key points inside this quadrangle is selected, wherein a normalized image comes to the input, on which according to the response of the system there is a document, wherein this document has zones divided into blocks, each block is assigned a descriptor, all descriptors form a set, then each zone is checked for similarity: the zone block descriptor counted on the document and the descriptor of the same zone block counted on the image are matched in pairs.

EFFECT: high quality and reliability of document recognition.
