FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing biological surfactants (biosurfactants) of microbiological origin, and can be used for extraction and transportation of oil, recovery of oil-contaminated areas, as well as in medicine, cosmetology and food industry. Said technical result is achieved as a result of submerged cultivation of microscopic fungus Hypomyces odoratus VKPM F-242 on nutrient media of simple composition, containing mineral salts and an organic carbon source—starch production wastes. Higher surfactant properties of the fungus biomass in relation to the rheological properties of high-viscosity, watered, bituminous oils are due to the synthesis of biological surfactants of a lipophilic nature, namely a complex of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids—oleic acid (44.02%), palmitic acid (30.65%), heptadecanoic acid (8.36%), stearic acid 6.92%, linoleic acid (9.05%). Obtained lipid fraction exhibits good oil-collecting properties in fresh water (Kmax=71).

EFFECT: obtaining more effective biosurfactant, having higher surface-active properties, wider resource base.
