FIELD: radio electronics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave electronics, namely devices for protection of input cascades of microwave radio receivers, in particular radar station receivers, from high-level input power in centimetre and millimetre wavelength ranges. Microwave cyclotron protective device comprises an electron gun, which forms a tape electron stream, a collector and a means for creating a uniform magnetic field oriented in the direction of the electron stream, input and output volumetric resonators, having unidirectional communication with each other through electronic flow and separated by a diaphragm with a hole for passage of electron flow, communication with input and output signal transmission lines, wherein each resonator has at least two interaction gaps, which are separated by drift sections. Drift section can be made in the form of an additional metal diaphragm with a hole for the beam passage and coupling slits between the resonator parts or in the form of a recess in the projections between which interaction gaps are formed. Length of drift section is calculated by formulas for each version.
EFFECT: expansion of the operating frequency band of the CPD.
