FIELD: radio electronics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vacuum microwave devices intended for use in accelerator technology, radio countermeasures and other areas. A klystron-type microwave device comprises an output two-gap resonator with an operating in-phase mode of oscillation, a drift tube is placed in the resonator housing between the gaps, connected to the housing by three holders having a shape close to flat spirals and located symmetrically relative to the drift tube. On the outer surface of the resonator there is a rectangular-section cooling pipe tightly adjacent to the body, with fittings for supplying and discharging cooling liquid, located at the level of the holders. The curvilinear surfaces of the holders are covered with a coating that absorbs microwave energy. The resonator housing, holders, and drift tube are made of the same material.
EFFECT: suppression of the generation of antiphase oscillations, increasing the reliability of the device while providing a high level of output power.
