In the proposed method, a standardized fire is extinguished with a fire load Gsf (MJ), with a specific fire load g (MJ/m2); at that, determining the extinguishing parameter by flow rate Qe (l/s), determining the average irrigation intensity iav ((l/s)/m2), determining the extinguishing speed indicator, characterized by the extinguishing time te (s), determining the performance indicator of the technical means, characterized by the activation time of the technical means tact (s) before the start of extinguishing, determining the protected zone limits indicator, characterized by the technical means effective range, fire damage index is determined from the area of the burning surface Ssa (m2) for the time before the beginning of extinguishing tact depending on the linear speed of combustion propagation vl (m/s) at the early stage of the fire source development: Ssa=p(0.5⋅vl⋅tact)2; compliance with the condition of efficiency of technical means is checked, according to which the area of free development of the fire source Sfr (m2) during the time tfr should not exceed the area Ssa: Sfr ≤ Ssa, and tfr ≤ tact; determining the effect of fire-extinguishing substances on the protected object, characterized by the irrigation area Sir (m2) , which includes the area of the fire source Sf and the area of guidance error dS: Sir=Sf+dS; at that, the standardized fire is placed on the area S = 1 m2 in the centre of the section of the maximum permissible area of the fire centre Smax (m2) before the beginning of extinguishing, which is equal to area of fire elimination Sel (m2): Smax = Sel = 12 m2, fire load Gsf is determined by the formula: Gsf=g⋅S; standardized fire and area Smax are located in the most remote protected zone at distance of effective radius of action of jet Re; compliance with the efficiency condition is checked, according to which the area of the burning surface Ssa during the activation time tact before the beginning of extinguishing does not exceed Smax: Ssa < Smax; extinguishing of the standardized fire is carried out by RFEI by sprinkling with line jets over the entire maximum allowable area of the fire source Smax taking into account the guidance error dS on the irrigation area Sir: Sir=Smax+dS, with established flow rate Qe and with average irrigation intensity iav.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method for evaluating the effectiveness of extinguishing fires with robotic fire extinguishing installations.
