FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental equipment for investigating fire extinguishing efficiency of liquid compositions, in particular, to an experimental bench for research of fire extinguishing efficiency of liquid compositions used for aircraft extinguishing of forest fires. Test bench includes model forest fires, a pumping-mixing unit, a pumping unit, as well as a unit for supplying liquid compositions to model forest fires, wherein the liquid compositions supply unit includes a set of sprinklers located above the model forest fires, providing a combination of liquid composition supply intensity in range of 0.08–0.2 l·m−2·s−1 and dispersion of drops in range from 0.2 to 1 mm, corresponding to the spectrum of drops when dropping water by means of aircraft.

EFFECT: improved quality of evaluation of fire extinguishing efficiency of new liquid compositions used for extinguishing forest fires with the help of aircraft.
