METHOD OF ARRANGEMENT OF MOUNTABLE-DISMOUNTABLE HEAT INSULATING PIPELINE COATING Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC F16L59/00 F16L59/02

Abstract RU 2343340 C1

FIELD: construction, pipeline.

SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to the sphere of industrial and civil construction and deals with arrangement of mountable-dismountable heat insulating pipeline coating with transported agent temperature ranging from below 180°C up to above 170°C. According to the method including installation of composite shells as pipeline coating along its entire length, their fastening with bandages and protection of coupling seams as per the invention, full factory assembly monolith module element with two insulating layers and protecting covering layer is used as composite shells. Inner layer exposed to the pipeline is made of rigid polyisocyanurate foam with softening temperature of 170°C, and outer surface is made of formed polyurethane foam at mutual displacement of layers against each other ensuring presence of heat interlocks of male - female type elements along the entire contour of the module element, shells are cross - linked along the perimeter and at length by means of longitudinal and cross heat interlocks and by off-setting cross seams at half of the length of the shell, the getting the seams sealed.

EFFECT: enhanced heat insulation efficiency.
