FIELD: protective devices.
SUBSTANCE: claimed solution relates to the construction of universal protective coatings, in particular the heat-insulating coating for applying to various types of surfaces. Claimed result is achieved due to the multi-layer thermal insulation coating based on VLHI (vacuumed liquid heat insulator) made from the composition, consisting of a binder base, in which ceramic and polymeric (based on thermoplastics) hollow and evacuated microspheres ranging in size from 0.01 to 250 microns are dispersed, as well as functional additives, wherein the coating contains a substrate on which a primer layer and a heat-insulating layer are successively applied, the heat-insulating layer being made on the basis of a VLHI with a content of microspheres in the amount of 50–87 %.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the service life of structures, improved thermal insulation characteristics and increased resistance to the effects of aggressive environmental factors through the use of evacuated microspheres as part of a coating system.
