SUBSTANCE: use to create a radio telescope with a bowl on an aerodynamic suspension. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that a radio telescope with a bowl on an aerodynamic suspension consists of a shelter in a foundation, a retractable mechanical support and a main mirror, has a shelter in the foundation in the form of a funnel, the surface of which coincides with the outer shape of the main mirror, in the center of the shelter there is a vertical shaft, inside which there is a retractable mechanical support capable of rotating in a horizontal plane, on top of which there is a vertical rotary device (VRD), consisting of a horizontal axis of rotation, to which on one side a grid truss is attached, carrying the main mirror of the antenna with a counter-reflector, and on the opposite side on the VRD axis there is a counterweight with a cargo ballast, bowl of the main mirror consists of a plurality of sections in the form of triangles forming a single parabolic surface, the frame of the sections consists of tubes or beams covered with a metallized mesh, each section is connected to an adjacent section through an intermediate ring, in which an inner ring with a fan is built-in, which can rotate, which rotation axis has an electric drive and is installed parallel to the VRD rotation axis, each rotary ring with a fan includes an electronic control controller, tasks of which include maintaining the axis of rotation of the fan in a vertical position, and such rpm, at which the total thrust created by all fans of the main mirror would be equal to its gravity.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of unloading the mirror of a radio telescope from its own weight using aerodynamic forces.
