FIELD: bells.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bells of large mass and size, in particular to methods for their suspension. One of the suspension options is carried out using an internal support truss in the form of a truncated pyramid, on the top of which a thrust bearing is installed, which rests against the top of the bell from the inside and is made with air outlet holes and with the possibility of connecting a compressor to it to eliminate sliding friction by air lubrication. Another option is carried out using an air cushion by creating excess air pressure under the bell or a magnetic cushion by installing the bell on a double ring platform containing neodymium magnets, both parts of which repel each other.
EFFECT: inventions make it possible to abandon the external suspension device.
