FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sampling equipment, in particular to devices used to catch drops from an air-droplet flow. Device includes a dye dispenser connected to the supply line of the analyzed/tested liquid sprayer, a control unit, a drop trap, a "Start" button and/or an external "Start" signal source, power supply, connecting wires/cables. Control unit is configured to supply liquid dye by the dispenser to the liquid supply line to the liquid sprayers at the command of the "Start" button signal or the external "Start" signal source for a time spanning the operation time of the drop trap and supply of a signal for the drop trap drive, by opening the chamber to the blowing mode with an air-droplet flow for a specified time and after it is closed, carrying out sampling of colored droplets from the air-droplet flow.
EFFECT: possibility of automating the process of evaluating the quality of the process of operation of liquid sprayers and reducing labor intensity when obtaining coating samples with drops.
