SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a system and a method for controlling the flow rate of a fluid medium passing into a drilling motor. System comprises: a housing including one or more housing bypass openings extending radially from an inner channel of the housing to an outer surface of the housing; valve assembly slidably arranged in the inner channel of the housing; a spring located in the inner channel of the housing and around the section of the valve assembly. Spring displaces valve assembly to closed position. Valve assembly comprises a valve and a working opening. Valve comprises a valve coupling forming an upper surface of the valve and forming an outer surface of the coupling and a lower surface of the coupling, lower valve shoulder, an outer surface of a reduced diameter relative to the outer surface of the coupling and the lower outer surface of the valve, extending from the lower surface of the coupling to the lower valve shoulder, an inner channel of the valve extending axially from the upper surface to the lower end, and a plurality of valve bypass channels extending axially through the valve coupling between the inner valve channel and the outer surface of the coupling. Working window is located in the inner channel of the valve. Valve assembly is configured to slide between a closed position and a fully open position. In the closed position, the valve closes the bypass openings of the housing. In the closed position, the valve assembly is controlled by flow rate. In a partially open position and a fully open position, the bypass channels of the valve and the bypass holes of the body form a bypass path of the fluid medium. In a partially open position and a fully open position, the valve assembly is pressure controlled.
EFFECT: providing an active valve device which diverts part of the fluid passing through the drill string into the well space, which is not spontaneously activated.
